Authenticity and Historic Design in Architectural Millwork: An Evening with Brent Hull
The ICAA Texas Chapter warmly invites you to a distinguished evening with master craftsman, author, and educator Brent Hull. A longtime supporter and Board Emeritus of our chapter, Brent has dedicated his career to the preservation of classical architecture and the art of authentic craftsmanship.
Brent will illuminate the enduring relevance of traditional millwork, drawing on decades of expertise in preservation and fine building. He’ll reveal how classical principles continue to inform contemporary design, offering timeless guidance for those devoted to beauty, craftsmanship, and architectural integrity.
Following the lecture, guests are invited to a reception and book signing for Brent’s latest publication, Millwork: The Design and Manufacturing of Historic Millwork from 1740–1950. The book—along with Brent’s other published works—will be available for purchase with complimentary shipping HERE
The event will be held in the restored historic Mrs. Baird’s Bread warehouse and bakery—now home to Casci Ornamental Metal and the remarkable plaster mold library of Decorators Supply. Enjoy light bites, wine, and the company of fellow members of Texas’s vibrant classical design community.
